Hmm, if I remember correctly I just added on to events already in the game and made it possible to actually ask him (and Sally ofc) out on Valentine's, and then of course added their respective endings. Not many people know this, unless they're actively looking to befriend the unavailable options in the base game, but many events that are meant for the actual options will have choices in them that you can pick that then earn points with Dominic/Sally instead of the LI in question, so you could likely rely on those.
However, I know that sort of answer is incredibly vague and unhelpful, so thank you for bringing this question to my attention - I'll replay the mod myself (I made it so long ago that I can't remember the specific events I changed/added to) and then get to making a walkthrough for this mod 😊
I just finish playing the game again with the mod and I notice the week 5 event where Max gets sick you can pick Dominic to take care of you but I have no idea how to get his ending as after the Valentine's event Max told Dom to give him a answer but to take his time but after that only the TV event happened where Dom is watching Star Trek but after that nothing happened like no special event on the beach or those weeks after it. well beside the Sint. Patrick's day where Max got to dare to kiss Dom.
Ah if that's what you meant then no there weren't any new events added, but you still need to get the same stats Anne would need to unlock Dominic's beach event. If you don't get them then the event will fail. Probably you met the Winter event requirements but not the Spring one? 🤔🤔Idk if you're a new player to Roommates in general (as you only said you just discovered this mod) but the Spring requirements are higher than the Winter ones... That's about all I can come up with as being the problem, though, since as long as you picked Dominic to hang out with at the beach you should have been set on his route...
no, I have on steam like 14 hours in this game but I mostly played it on my switch too and I don't know how much hours I putted in that version, also bought the game on steam early 2015, donno when I purchased the switch version but I can never got a ending as I'm bad at getting the requirements. Also donno how much requirement there need to be too.
For Spring break you need 150 and 100 of the respective LI's stats, you should be able to check that in the game by going to 'stats'. After Spring Break the minimum gets raised to 300 and 200 for the ending, but for the good ending you need both of those stats to equal 600 or more when added together.
Hey there, I know it's been a long time ever since the mod was posted, but it seems to not be working out for me, every time I try to open the game with the mod in it
It looks like you didn't copy one of the files into the right location... Your best bet would be to re-download the mod and then copy/paste it once again. Make sure everything goes into the "game" file!
Okay, so, I did re-download the mod and copy/pasted the all seven files directly into the "game" file. The same message pops up, and I'm not sure why, all of the seven files in the mod are there and I made sure of it. I'm sorry for all of this, maybe I'm just unlucky and the mod doesn't work for me ?
In the base version of Roommates, the character you normally can't romance will have a label over their face in the status screen that says you can't romance them. For example, if you're playing as Max, Dominic's face will be obscured, while if you're playing as Anne, Sally's face will be obscured. I purposefully went and removed these for the purposes of the mod, though, so if the mod is working properly, when you go and check the characters' affections, Dominic's/Sally's face should be visible. If that's the case, you'll know it's working just fine :)
Hi! I'm trying this mod, and it doesn't load the winter break scene properly. After a few text boxes in, it gives an error message about bypassing winter break, and then the schedule plays through like a normal week with no events.
Everything up to that point seemed to work properly; I love the new additions! Unfortunately, skipping winter break doesn't allow for the romantic options to lock in after that. It did this on both the Anne/Sally and Max/Dominic paths.
I'm so sorry! At the time of first posting this mod, I had noticed this problem, and what the issue is is there's a hidden function that tracks whether you've gotten at least 20 points with the base romance characters at that point - which excludes Dominic for Max, and Sally for Anne. If you don't have at least 20 points with someone who isn't Dominic or Sally, then you will be forced to skip Winter Break.
I have recently found that function, however, so I can soon post the newly-working version of the mod if you don't mind waiting :) I'm so sorry!!!
No worries. :) Honestly, I really just appreciate that you took the time to respond! It wouldn’t be too hard to go back and get some points with another character.
It’s definitely a great mod, though. I laughed my butt off at Max and Dominic’s interaction during the drinking game. X.D Really looking forward to going through the rest of it. Thank you for making it and sharing!

Hey I know I'm late to this but I just discovered your mod today and is there events I need to play for Dominic?

Oh no! What seems to be the problem?
Well, I'm not so sure to be honest. Instead of the game opening like normal, a text file pops up saying:
I'm sorry, but an uncaught exception occurred.
While running game code:

And to be very honest I have no clue what's going onIt looks like you didn't copy one of the files into the right location... Your best bet would be to re-download the mod and then copy/paste it once again. Make sure everything goes into the "game" file!

Could you post a screenshot of your game folder?
Hello so Im a new player in roommates. I don't know if the mod worked for me so I want to ask how can I know if the mod worked?

Okay thank you
